Zoom integration on eJustice.pk

eJustice.pk uses Zoom so verified lawyers can host secure online consultations with clients. Video runs in the eJustice website — not as an in-meeting Zoom App inside the Zoom desktop client. This guide covers adding, using, removing, and troubleshooting the integration.

Who needs to connect Zoom

  • Lawyers — connect a Zoom account once in Settings to create meeting links for online bookings.
  • Clients — do not connect Zoom. Clients sign in to eJustice and join consultations from their booking page.

Adding the app (lawyers)

Prerequisites: an approved lawyer account on eJustice.pk and an active Zoom account.

  1. Sign in at eJustice.pk/login.
  2. Open Lawyer Settings.
  3. In the Zoom video consultations section, click Connect Zoom account.
  4. Sign in to Zoom (if prompted) and click Allow.
  5. You return to Settings with status Connected and your linked Zoom email displayed.

Troubleshooting: see Troubleshooting below.

Usage

Feature: Connect Zoom (OAuth)

Use case: Link your Zoom account so eJustice can create meetings on your behalf.

Prerequisites: Lawyer login; Zoom account with permission to host meetings.

Feature: Automatic meeting creation

Use case: When a client books an online consultation and payment is confirmed, eJustice creates a Zoom meeting on your connected account.

Prerequisites: Zoom connected in Settings; booking mode set to online; payment confirmed.

Feature: Join meeting (Meeting SDK)

Use case: Lawyer and client join the consultation in an in-app video room on eJustice at the scheduled time.

Prerequisites: Confirmed online booking with a created meeting; both parties signed in to eJustice.

  1. Lawyer: open booking from Lawyer → Bookings → select booking → Join meeting.
  2. Client: open booking from Client → Bookings → select booking → Join meeting.

Note: Video is embedded on eJustice (web browser). This is not an in-client Zoom App panel inside the Zoom desktop application.

Removing the app (lawyers)

From eJustice

  1. Go to Lawyer Settings.
  2. Click Disconnect Zoom in the Zoom section.

From your Zoom account

  1. Open Zoom → Manage installed apps.
  2. Find eJustice and remove / deauthorize the app.

What happens when you disconnect

  • eJustice deletes stored Zoom OAuth tokens and connected-account metadata from our database.
  • New online bookings will not create Zoom meetings until you connect again.
  • Existing booking records may retain historical meeting IDs and join URLs for reference; no new meetings are created after disconnect.
  • We do not sell your Zoom data. See our Privacy Policy for data rights.

Troubleshooting

Connect failed or returned an error
Ensure you are signed in as a lawyer, then retry from Settings. Confirm your Zoom account can host meetings. Clear browser cookies and try again.
Meeting not created after booking
Verify Zoom is connected in Settings, the booking is online, and payment is confirmed. Reconnect Zoom if needed.
Cannot join meeting
Join from the booking page at the scheduled time while signed in. Allow camera and microphone in your browser. Use Chrome or Edge for best results.

Data processed

When you connect Zoom, eJustice stores OAuth tokens (encrypted at rest), your Zoom account email, and meeting identifiers to create and manage consultations. Tokens are deleted when you disconnect. See our Privacy Policy.
